6 Reasons why people end up in hell
According to the bible, the ONLY one big main reason people DO NOT make it to heaven is because they don't have a relationship with Jesus.
They have not asked Him to forgive all their sins, and to be the King of their lives.
When someone becomes BORN AGAIN (John 3:3) GOD takes that person's spirit and renews it with HIS.
When someone is born again, their spiritual DNS is very different from someone is not - they are not just 'good people', with 'good ideas' - they are actually as the bible says NEW BEINGS. This is the KEY you need to enter heaven.
(John 3:3) Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
Why do people not get born again?
Here are the main 5 reasons why people end up in hell
Self reliance
Most unsaved people in the world falls for this one, most religions in the world rely on the follower to 'earn' heaven/paradise/nirvana by sacrificing/meditating/doing good works.
As Christians we utterly and completely rely on the sacrifice of Christ for us, we where supposed to go to hell, He took our place.
Other forms of self reliance is the pointless gathering of material things etc.
Ephesians 2:8
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God,
Indifference
Many people, think there is soooo many religions, which one is true? So instead of seeking God, or seeking the truth or investigating things, they just fall into indifference. Their response is: 'I am not interested in religion'.
Romans 3:11
There is none who understands, there is none who seeks for God;
Pride
If indifference and self reliance keeps you from God, PRIDE will keep God way from you. He hates it, it is evil. Pride is like a hook on the wall, it always looks for something to hang on it and disguise itself.
Pride could be - OUR tradition, MY career, MY talents, My sports group, My knowledge and education, My religion etc.
It is something that you value and focus on, you defend it, You don't want to change your life or admit that you are in need of a Saviour.
Galatians 6:3
For if anyone thinks he is something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself.
Proverbs 16:5
Everyone who is arrogant in heart is an abomination to the Lord; be assured, he will not go unpunished.
James 4:6
But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, “God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”
Lack of knowledge
God once showed me that He does not give people more knowledge because knowledge has the tendency to puff up, and He does not want people to be proud, so He only shares with the humble.
Satan uses people's lack of knowledge to destroy their health, finances, relationships and idea of who God is. If people don't know God or are misinformed about Him, they will not come close to Him.
Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because you have rejected knowledge, I will also reject you, that you shall be no priest to me: because you have forgotten the law of your God, I will also forget your children.
Tradition
'I am a muslim, my father was a muslim, my grandfather was a muslim'. If Satan bring false religion/ways/traditions into family lines he tries to kill and destroy the whole family line that follows.
We must seek God fist and not adhere to traditions that keeps us away from God or are against His word.
In the west people celebrate Halloween- this is an evil tradition and not from God.
Colossians 2:8
See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to Christ.
Matthew 15:6
He need not honor his father.’ So for the sake of your tradition you have made void the word of God.
Matthew 15:3
He answered them, “And why do you break the commandment of God for the sake of your tradition?
Procrastination
'I want to enjoy my life first - then when I am older I will serve God' - the devil whispered in the ear of the young man, who will never make it to heaven. When God calls we need to answer.
We can only get saved when God calls us, He does it at the time of His choosing, we don't respond, we might never hear His voice again.
Luke 9:59-62
To another he said, “Follow me.” But he said, “Lord, let me first go and bury my father.” And Jesus said to him, “Leave the dead to bury their own dead. But as for you, go and proclaim the kingdom of God.” Yet another said, “I will follow you, Lord, but let me first say farewell to those at my home.” Jesus said to him, “No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for the kingdom of God.”
